Patty Gehringer, President and CEO of Casebine Community Credit Union (CCCU), announced in October 2020 her plan to retire April 7, 2021, after nearly 25 years with Casebine and 35 years in the Credit Union movement. Gehringer started at CCCU in 1996 as the Assistant Manager and assumed the role of President/CEO upon Kay Kremer’s retirement in April 2009.
Gehringer will continue to be involved in the operations of the Credit Union by interacting with staff and assisting the Board of Directors in a smooth transition. She has contributed to the growth of CCCU; the transition from a closed membership to a Community Charter, building of the new office on the corner of West Burlington Avenue and Division Street, working with the NCUA to establish CCCU’s Low Income Designation status to better help our members, and educate the community on the benefits of having a credit union membership/ownership in their own non-profit financial institution.
The Board of Directors and staff at Casebine Community Credit Union wish her a blessed, healthy, and happy retirement!
